The problem with cosplay.

As a nerd, I love dressing up as Jedi knights, Hobbits, and detectives. But what are my thoughts on cosplay? There is nothing wrong with dressing up and showing the world that you love a specific character or movie, but how the world views cosplay is really, really wrong. I would L-O-V-E  to go to a convention, but I have a   HUGE problem, the way that most women dress.

There are plenty of lovely cosplays out there like,
                      
                       ( Female Captain America,  a perfect example of modest cosplay.)
Or,
                       
                           ( A modest Little Mermaid.)
Also 
                       
                           ( Rosie Riverter is a great choice!)
And
                      
                         ( A cute couple costume!) 
Finally my favorite,
                   
                             
                                       ( A rain cloud!) 
So why does cosplay have to be centered around a woman's body? That's a good question with no answer, it shouldn't be! Ladies, you are worth so much. Don't dress like that to get a guy, because I can guarantee, it will be the wrong kind of guy. I hope that one day in the future, this will not be a problem and that we can cosplay freely. Maybe we should start a modest cosplay convention. That would be awesome! And if anyone wants to know, I would be going as a rain cloud! :)
